Les Salins du Midi committed to the environment
Committed to conserving resources and protecting the environment, Les Salins du Midi works every day to reduce the amount of plastic used, a major source of pollution on the planet.
 

As such, Les Salins du Midi has adopted packaging for its water treatment bags that contains 30% polyethylene sourced from the industrial post-consumer recycling stream. To achieve this, the company has drawn on the expertise of its supplier, who guarantees a very high-quality polymer certified by RECYCLASS. The waste is collected and processed in the supplier’s own factories to ensure optimal traceability, before being incorporated into the packaging. This blend obviously has no impact whatsoever on the recyclability of the final product. A new logo has been added to the packaging for salts used in water softeners and swimming pools, enabling consumers to clearly identify the change.
 

At the same time, Les Salins du Midi are continuing to work with their supplier to reduce their plastic consumption.
It is also important to note that all their water treatment products are certified Origine France Garantie, ensuring they are 100% French-made.
