Why use regenerating salt?

Tap water often contains high levels of calcium and magnesium ions. The water is heated to wash the dishes. This causes limescale to form, which can damage the dishwasher and leave white spots on your dishes (especially glasses).

The water softening system needs to be regenerated to ensure that the dishwasher continues to perform at its best. To do this, you need to use regeneration salt with a high degree of purity.
