Neptune tablets are made from an extremely pure refined salt (99.9% NaCl). Particular care has been taken to remove all harmful substances such as iron, manganese and copper. Neptune salt tablets are also free from anti-caking agents. Neptune is suitable for all types of pools and meets the requirements of a good pool salt.

The quality of the salt is paramount for this type of treatment. Indeed, certain substances such as manganese and iron may be present and, through precipitation, create indelible brown stains on pool surfaces. Anti-caking agents, generally used for storing fine salt, can also cause brown stains to appear.
